Today in a 46 to 30 vote, SB277 passed the assembly. It is now up to Governor Jerry Brown to either veto or pass it. We believe if there is a risk, there should be a choice. If you feel the same, then here is an opportunity to sign the petition. http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/governor-jerry-brown–mandatory-vaccinations

Why are we against mandatory vaccinations? It’s simple, anything that holds a risk [verb, incur the chance of unfortunate consequences by engaging in (an action)], you should have a choice. In all medical treatments, the doctor must tell you of the risk you will be exposed to. You then have a choice if you would like to use their recommendation for treatment, or find another treatment. You get to choose. Unfortunately, SB 277 removes the choice, not the risk.
