New Research on the Benefits of Chiropractic Care

In a long term study of outcomes Campbell et al used a case controlled retrospective analysis to assess the effects of short and long-term chiropractic care on serum thiol levels in asymptomatic subjects.(8)  Serum thiol levels in subjects with active disease were compared to levels in primary wellness subjects with thiol levels shown to be highest in the group with greater than 52 weeks of chiropractic care. Serum thiol is a surrogate measure of DNA repair enzyme activity.

What does this mean to you?
It means that the Chiropractic Adjustment causes a bio-chemical change that stimulates the DNA repairing enzymes in our body.
In simpler terms, those family and friends that you know that are suffering or battling cancer need to hear your story and this message!
If the DNA chain within a group of cells changes, this is a tumor or cancer.
Chemotherapy kills the cells, the Adjustment re-charges and re-vitalizes the cells by repairing the injured DNA.
Wellness care, your regular weekly adjustment, has just gained an increased value to all mankind!
New research just released about over the counter pain killers and broken bones.  Check it out …

70 million prescriptions written in the U.S. every year for prescription NSAIDS and God only knows how much of the stuff is consumed on an over-the-counter basis. In a recent “Instructional Course Lecture” from the American Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (2009:91:2020-2027) comes a tidbit related to these products…adverse events from the use of NSAIDS are responsible for over 2% of ALL hospital admissions in the U.S…. For the folks who take these products and don’t end up hospitalized, there is some additional info to keep in mind: “…anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen…have an inhibitory effect on fracture healing….” And “Non-steroidal anti inflammatory drugs also impede cell proliferation by inhibiting angiogenesis.” And “…bone formation was suppressed by oral administration of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that contains COX-2 inhibitor.”
